In the maintenance of Sendzimir mill intermediate roll, the following three problems should be noted:
The first is to correctly judge the number of uses. Due to the high hardness of the Sendzimir intermediate roll, it is difficult to grind, and special grinding wheels and automatic grinding machines are required. After the grinding is completed, the composite flaw detection of the roll surface is performed by using an eddy current flaw detector and an ultrasonic flaw detector. After the normal Sendzimir intermediate roller is ground, the micro-thermal crack can remain on the machine. The Sendzimir mill intermediate roll, which is driven by a rolling accident, must increase the amount of grinding on the basis of grinding and removing the crack on the roll surface.
